Park Policies
We are so glad you are staying with us here at Frost Ridge Park. No matter how long your stay with us is, we want your stay to be full of good memories with family and friends. Please read and observe our list of policies so that everyone has a safe and enjoyable time. Please direct all questions or concerns to management.
VISITORS:
Visitors MUST REGISTER at the office. If visitors do not register at the office the camper they are visiting will incur a fine. No exceptions. This rule is going to be enforced for your protection and safety.
If you have a guest with you that is over 17 and not listed on your seasonal/monthly/weekly reservation, they will need to stop at office and register and get a day/night pass along with a car pass. There is a $5.00 fee for day pass 10:00am – 10:00pm or $25 for overnight. This pass gives the guest access to all our amenities.
Passes will need to be returned to the office/store or put into the drop box, by the store, if closed when they leave. If pass is not returned we will assume they are spending the night and fee will be added to your site. No exceptions.
PETS:
To comply with NYS Law, a maximum 6’ physical leash is required when outside. Dogs are not to be tied or left outside unattended.
Proof of rabies vaccination (certificate is required)
Disruptive dogs will not be tolerated and will be asked to leave. This includes but not limited to, excessive barking, growling or any aggressive behavior. This is at the discretion of management.
Pets must be cleaned up after, immediately. Doggie bags are available in store if needed. Having pets at the Park is a privilege.
Pets are not allowed in Frost Ridge Park buildings, laundry facility, Park Models, Cabins (wet or dry), playground or swimming pool area including pool itself.
GOLF CARTS:
Golf carts are for seasonal guests only.
Proof of insurance and yearly fee is required for golf carts.
Golf Cart will be allowed by monthly/weekly/daily camper if letter from doctor authorizing need accompanies reservation.
No other electric or gas driven vehicles of any sort are allowed.
No generators allowed.
ALCOHOL: (As per NYS laws, regulations and suggestions)
Alcohol is allowed within Park boundaries. Please drink responsibly.
No glass containers allowed outside of campsite.
Alcohol needs to be in an unmarked container when walking around campground.
Under-age drinking will not be tolerated and will result in immediate eviction of all parties involved with no refund given, including daily, weekly, monthly or seasonal guests.
Drunk and disorderly conduct will not be tolerated and guest may be asked to leave the campground immediately by discretion of management.
Please keep alcohol stored away from minors.
SITES:
Each site and unit, (park model/cabin), is a rented area that must be maintained by the guest.
Sites and units are available for rent to those 21 years of age and older.
There is no sub-letting allowed.
Each site has 20/30/50 amp capability. There is to be only 1 (one) plug into the panel box. If more than 1 (one) plug is plugged in it will be removed. If it continues to happen the guest will be evicted with no refund.
The one renting must also be the one staying on the site or in the unit.
Grounds Keeping will mow all grass and trim around Park Models and Cabins and sites that are rented daily/weekly/monthly. Seasonal guests will be responsible for trimming their own site.
There are to be no totes, containers, garbage, excessive propane tanks or debris left under or around any site or camping unit. Sites and units are to be clear of any clutter.
Decks or sheds that are on a site need to be in good order. Decks or sheds that are in disrepair will need to be fixed to management’s specifications or removed completely from Park.
If site or unit becomes too cluttered management will give a warning. If site or unit continues to be cluttered or not maintained, guest may be asked to leave Park with no refund given.
Our Park has well water. THERE IS NO WASHING OF VEHICLES OR CAMPERS. There are no exceptions.
SWIMMING POOL: (REQUIRES 2 ADULTS (OVER 18), TO SWIM)
NEVER SWIM ALONE
Hours: 10 am – 8 pm daily
Pool is closed when gate is locked
Please close and latch gate behind you
No alcohol of any kind allowed in pool area
No pets allowed in pool or pool area
No running or horseplay in pool area
Pool Capacity – 50 people
A minimum of two (2) or more adults, 18 years of age or older, must be present at the pool when the facility is in use, with at least one adult on the pool deck.
Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by their responsible adult for their safety and behavior while in the pool area.
Shallow water, no diving allowed.
For emergencies, there is a telephone in the Park office
Dial 911 for emergency services
An emergency whistle will be blown to clear the pool. Please leave pool area immediately.
Swim at your own risk
CAMPFIRES:
Campfires are allowed in fire rings only. No outside wood allowed. Wood is available from store. Wood is to be stacked neatly at site. Campfires are done at guests own risk. Do not leave fire unattended. If outside wood is brought in, guest will be asked to remove it.
LAUNDRY ROOM:
Located on the back of the arcade. Be respectful of others. Do not leave laundry in washers or dryers. Unattended laundry will be moved to a table. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
PLAYGROUND:
Children need to be supervised at all times. Play at your own risk.
ARCADE:
There is to be no food or drink in the arcade. Arcade games are played at your own risk. There will be no refund of money lost in the games.
PARKING:
There is NO overflow parking. Please keep to gravel roads and driveways. Avoid driving on the grass as much as possible. There are designated parking areas for each site that will allow for 2 cars only. If you are not sure where to park, please check with staff or maintenance.
GARBAGE:
There are 2 dumpsters. One is by garages and the other is at the back of the campground. This is for household garbage only. No mattresses, wood or plastic furnishings, car batteries or metal. There are camera’s. Violation of this rule will result in a fine.
PARK PROPERTY BOUNDARY:
The Park is bordered by farms with clear marked posted signs. The farmers and property owners have requested that no person or animal staying at the Park, trespass on their property. Please be respectful and remain within our boundaries. These are easily identifiable as Conlon Road, the tree hedge at the North and East of the property, and by a Rope Marker Fence and posted signs at the top of the ski hill. Please use the public access to Oatka Creek. If you choose to venture past the Park boundaries, onto private property, you will be responsible for any and all retribution from property owners. You will also be asked to leave the park immediately with no refund given.
NOTE: There are cameras in various locations around the campground for the safety of our guests. Please be aware that any defacing or redirection of cameras by guest will result in immediate eviction from Park with no refund given.
All mentioned regulations/policies will be enforced.
